What a wonderful celebration yesterday! Our March Eucharist celebration coincided with the first Sunday of Lent. It was a thoughtful reflection on the meaning of Lent and it was wonderful to see so many families joining with us in Lenten preparation and prayer.
Fr Jim Carty gave us a timely reminder of our connection to the country, and the distribution of ashes by Uncle John Allen during mass reminded us that “we are dust and to dust, we shall return”. May we all reflect on this during the Season of Lent.
Looking forward to celebrating Palm Sunday Mass next month.
